Overland Expo Foundation reflects on the 2024 year. With successful fundraising efforts they awarded grants, provided education, and left the expos better than we found it.
Kids Driving Course at Overland Expo
Overland Expo partnered with Tread Lightly! to host a Kids Driving Course at all four Overland Expo events to introduce kids to basic navigation skills, while also teaching the importance of staying the trail.
Explore More SoCal connects students to the outdoors
Project Heal the Land launched the Explore More So Cal program in 2023 with the mission of connecting students to the outdoors while fostering environmental stewardship, preparedness, and community engagement.

Grace Schuessler of the graceful renegade received a $5,000 grant from the Overland Expo Foundation to support her video series Where the Wild Things Are.
Protecting Trails through cleanups and kiosks
Tread Lightly! with the support of grant funding from the Overland Expo Foundation completed three projects to help protect trail systems.
Rally for Rangers Supports Tribal Parks in the Badlands
Rally for Rangers provided support to the Northern Cheyenne and Oglala-Sioux tribal parks, helping ensure access continues for years to come, as well as protecting the wildlife and other resources in the Badlands.
