Our team is back from Overland Expo SoCal 2026 and we are continually blown away by the generosity and support from this community. The Foundation booth was packed throughout the weekend and programming executed by the Foundation was well attended. Best of all, the Saturday night Raffle raised a ton of money for conservation and to support Foundation grant recipients.
HEST Kickoff Party at Rivian Theatre
The 2026 Event Season kicked off at the Rivian Theatre in Laguna Beach on Friday night! HEST organized a great group of exhibitors and programing to mark the start of the season. The Foundation raised hundreds of dollars through a mini-raffle and the audience was rewarded with a viewing of Grace Schuessler’s documentary Where the Wild Things Are.
Kid's RC Driving Course & Scavenger Hunt
The Foundation team is committed to reaching overland travelers with high-quality education at an early age. The Kid’s RC Driving Course was well-attended with hundreds of children participating in learning the Overland Responsibly Principles. We want to thank the countless volunteers that help build and run the RC Course at these events. We couldn’t do it without you!
Saturday Night RafflE Raised $10,000
Thanks to the generosity of the exhibitors that support the raffle year after year, we were able to raise over $10,000 to support the Foundation grant projects in the coming year.
Our brand partners continue to come in clutch with massive donations like a set of Nokian Tires, a pair of Vortex binoculars, and a Superwinch Winch!
More Ways to get involved!
Look for the Overland Expo Foundation booth at ALL FIVE Overland Expo events in 2026; stop by the booth (blue tent next to the Oasis) and purchase your raffle tickets for the Saturday evening raffle. At each event, hundreds of exhibitors donate merchandise from their shelves to benefit the efforts of the Foundation at the raffle, and the prizes are truly overwhelming.
All raffle ticket proceeds go directly to the Overland Expo Foundation and support organizations and individuals who help protect and advance the overland community domestically and around the world.
